Salvang ("Danish Capital of America")

Liese and I went to Salvang ("Danish Capital of America") in Santa Ynez Valley of California over the weekend. It's a very small town with a Danish flare. We stayed at the Royal Copenhagen Inn and spent the next two days wine tasting at the Presidio Winery Tasting Room and Cabana Tasting Room.

We ate Danish Pasties at Mortensen's Danish Bakery, German Bratwurst (my favorite) at the Heidelberg Inn, and a yummy breakfast at Paula's Pancake House. We also visited all the shops and had an old-fashion photograph made us of. Liese dressed up as a bar wench and I as cowboy with a shotgun and real pistol (without the bullets, of course).
